BirdsBirds and Wildlife

Northumberland is blest with unspoilt tracks of land, both coastal and inland in the National Park and as such there are great opportunities for exploring the abundant wildlife in the area.

The Farne Islands in particular are famous for their prolific bird colonies - regular boat trips depart from Seahouses. There are many other sites for the avid wildlife enthusiast however, and we can provide specific facilities for visitors involved in outdoor activities, including:

  • Drying facilities for clothes etc
  • Packed lunches for individuals and parties
  • Route maps of the region, with guide books for specific areas of interest
